There were 57 students went to Serendah on the 15th June 2019 and students were required to fill in the indemnity form before travel. The form to submitted Ms. Norji before the event day. The list of the names and transportation are as follows:

Group 1: Sponsorship Team (8 students)

Led by Darren, the team started to assemble the furniture which they had bought earlier as early 10.00am. They assembled 4 billy low shelves, 6 billy high shelves, 4 linnmon tables, 2 melltorp tables, 12 manmut chairs, 17 adde chairs and 2 lack side tables with the help from 2 students from group 4.

 

Group 2: Exterior walls and surrounding (12 students)

Most of the Group 2 team arrived late due to the heavy traffic except for Samuel and Dash. They were helping the team cleaning the surrounding and the back wall. Once the team arrived, Leon as the leader distributed the task fairly. The task was divided into 3 parts, which was to clean the exterior spaces, paint the exterior walls and mural, as well as the paint on the staircase.

Group 3: Interior Walls and wall transformation (22 students)

The students from Group 3 arrived at the site at 10.00 am and the team started to do some touch up on the flooring by cleaning and removing excess paint stains on the floor. They started to apply the 3rd layer of prime coat on the wall. Once dried, the drew the mural design as planned. It took almost 3hours to complete on the mural design. Some students were assigned to mix the colour before they started painting the mural paint on the selected wall. It took merely 4hours to complete as the space was quite big and the design need to be detailed.

 

Group 4: Shelves and books arrangement (2 students)

While waiting for the mural dried, Sula and Joycelin began arranging the furniture into the mini-library. Later, they were arranging the books on the shelves with the help from group 1 team as per coding planned. Overall, they have collected more than 1200 books and magazines. 

Group 5: Interactive Fun-learning Aids (8 students)

Some of the students from Group 5 participated in this phases. After the walls had dried, the team began to install the fun-learning aids on the walls. Led by Joe and David, they were helping each other drilling the learning-aid onto the wall.

Group 6: Pre and post, pictures, video, food and logistics (4 students)

Royce Leow, the group leader handled the videography, taking shots from different angles in order to show progression throughout the phase while the others managed the social media, photo taking and they also helped in doing other tasks from the other groups if help is needed. Chen and Yanyi bought the breakfast and lunch as it is part of logistics task. As the process of transforming the space continued, the amount of trash has built up. Chen and Royce helped them by clearing out the trash. The process of transforming the mini-library went on from 10.00am to 8.30pm.
